The day when Google rolls out its new algorithm that takes into account whether the website is mobile friendly as an important factor in its rankings calculation.
How will this affect you?
If your website is not mobile friendly, you will be penalised by Google search engines and are at risk of losing your rankings. A majority of customers rely on Internet search to find your goods and services and with Google representing about 62% of the search engine traffic, you cannot afford to ignore their new mobile-friendly factor.
Google favours responsive websites above the other two main mobile solutions because it gives the visitor a better experience, the URL remains the same and the page code remains the same.
