Eglise Protestante Française de Londres (‘Eglise’) was founded by Royal Charter in 1550, signed by Edward VI, allowing religious freedom to French and Walloon refugees.
The new website
The Joomla! version of the website having reached its end of life, in other words it was no longer being supported, another important upgrade was required. This presented an opportunity to reconsider the design and the content architecture.
In 2014, we were pleased to be given the new brief for the website to create a more dynamic and younger image of Eglise, incorporating interactivity and multi-media, particularly videos, to replace the previous one we had developed for them in 2005.
We redesigned the website logo to be more in tune with our time and the new image projected by the website.
We selected a contemporary professional responsive template that would satisfy Eglise’s requirements in terms of look and feel and functionalities.
The content management system is the latest version of Joomla!.
The home page was designed with new modules to feature activities, announcements and other relevant content.
Multimedia gallery software was installed to display the videos.
